Arcturus wool blankets are triple washed during the manufacturing process unlike the typical cheap ones.This makes it softer, cleaner and less pilling so you can use it immediately from the day you receive it.
Use wool detergent
Washing may be necessary after useWhen washing, we recommend using special wool detergent for best results.Blankets made by looms may pill after the first few washes.
Recommended hand wash!
To maximize the life of your blanket (to prevent unnecessary pilling), we recommend hand washing in cold water for daily care.Color may fade so be sure to wash separately from other laundry. It can also be machine washed in front of the drum using gentle cycle with cold water.However, please avoid vertical washing machines as the agitator wings will damage the blanket and increase pilling.
Do not tumble dry!
To extend the life of your blanket, we recommend line dry (line dry after dehydration) instead of using a dryer. Dryer can easily damage clothes and blankets, and line dry gently.
